In cases where a traditional filling just won’t work, we may recommend a porcelain inlay or onlay treatment. Porcelain inlays cover the interior of the tooth, up to the cusps, while an onlay extends over the cusps. These restorations are durable and generally strengthen the tooth structure after the decay has been eradicated. They typically don’t require additional restorative therapy, unlike traditional composite fillings. If a tooth is severely damaged, or has become weak from endodontic therapy, we may suggest a crown restoration. A crown is a custom-fitted cap that is bonded over the weakened tooth and strengthens and protects the natural tooth underneath. They are expertly colored to match the shade of your natural teeth, making the entire restoration seamless. We offer same-day crowns with CEREC technology, which means you don’t have to wait weeks for the permanent restoration.
Bridges are a dental restoration that uses two crowns as anchors to replace either one tooth or a series of missing teeth with prosthetics. Our bridges are either metal-free or porcelain-fused-to-metal, depending on your specific case.
Partials and dentures are one of our options for missing teeth. When teeth are missing, healthy teeth can shift positions, throwing off your bite and altering the way you speak and eat. Partials replace a series of missing teeth, while dentures can replace an entire set of teeth.
